Howard CDM constructed a new 7,200 SF modular office building and 300 SF prefabricated metal storage building on an existing 100-yard wharf in the heart of the Port of Los Angeles. Due to its location, five different agencies had jurisdiction over the wharf and oversaw all aspects of construction. The Coastal Commission, Port of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Building & Safety, Los Angeles Fire Department, and the State of California supervised sewer, electrical, domestic water, and fire protection connections as well as construction of the buildings from inception to completion.
