Sean Kelly Gallery is a New York-based art gallery that since its inception in 1991, has been internationally regarded for its roster of artists and has garnered international attention for its high caliber exhibition program + collaboration with many of the most significant cultural institutions around the world. Howard CDM had the honor of building their Los Angeles location in Hollywood in partnership with architectural firm Hye-Young Chung in collaboration with design architect Toshiko Mori. The project scope of work included a TI of a three-story 18,000 SF former yoga studio + café space to an art gallery and office. The design of the new space offers “varied spatial experiences, combining atmosphere and light with the rich context of LA.”
